Our mission is to provide under-privileged children with an opportunity to gain a life long gift of Computer education. Founded on the belief that education is the key to break the cycle of poverty and taking control of one’s own life; We currently focus on Baramati and its near about areas. Since our inception as a non profit entity in 2002 , we have impacted the lives of thousands of children by implementing our" Low Cost Computer Lab With Thin Client technology"

NOTHING SUCCEEDS LIKE SUCCESS ::

If two students get one hour on one computer per day then we can educate 60 students per week. So if we have a lab consisting 5 thin clients on an average we can educate 300 students per week. It is a network of computers which enhances teaching & learning experiences with the latest sophisticated tools to assist educators in accomplishing their instructional goals .

WHY WE USE THIS LAB ? ::

We are happy to put forth “Low Cost Computer Lab ” , an education solution for your institute . The solution addresses critical technology and budgetary issues and delivers the solution to teachers and students need . The main component in our lab is the “ Thin Client ” ,which uses only the server OS for operating purposes and it uses flash memory for its storing purposes . So due to the configuration costs nearly Rs12,000 only . Due to Centralized Server control over the lab.

It provide the following advantages :

1. Secure - Client is protected from viruses and Desktop control.
2. Economical - Less expensive and more reliable, Thin Clients cost less to purchase initially, and these are cheaper to manage and operate than PCs. Upgrades and patches, will be more efficient, and IT repairs will be less frequent.
3. Versatile - Run PC applications without PC management. A variety of emulations, and operating systems can be used with a thin client.
4. Internet Capability - Internet access possible by each student with permission from teacher.
   Low Cost of Maintenance - Reduce maintained cost & software upgradation cost of thin client students terminal’s. It also provide the power backup requirement with low maintenance cost.
5. OS Independent - Thin client can be connected with the server which might have any OS.
   Customizable - Each setup can be customized to meet needs of a school.

LAB ARCHITECTURE ::

Our lab solution will have a teacher station (server) which can be high end desktop with any server operating system installed and several diskless student station, alternatively a separate server machine can be set up in case there are multiple class rooms or teacher and students are remotely located. The teacher station (server) is a powerful system that enables the teacher to act as the “conductor ” of the classroom activity, equipped with the internal storage capacity and accommodating removable media such as floppy disks or CD-ROMS . The teacher’s station allows the teacher to print homework for students or copy work on to disk to take home in a convenient format .
